Design and Build
The LemonQueen MK04 Filter uses a standard rectangular pleated design, common in many compact air purifiers. The outer layer is a pleated premium filter, likely made of synthetic fibers, that traps larger particles like dust and pet dander. Behind it lies an activated carbon layer intended to reduce household odors, smoke, and volatile organic compounds.
Each filter measures 10.7 inches long, 8.9 inches wide, and 1.4 inches thick, which fits snugly into the AROEVE MK04 and other compatible models listed by the manufacturer. The two-pack provides a spare, which is convenient for scheduled replacement. No additional mounting hardware or installation tools are required, as the filter simply slides into the purifier’s compartment.
Performance and Features
Filtration Efficiency
The combination of a pleated pre-filter and activated carbon is a common architecture for mid-range home air purifiers. The pleated layer captures visible particles, while carbon targets odors and gases. LemonQueen does not provide specific performance data like CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) or removal percentages for smoke, pollen, or dust. However, the high user rating suggests that the filter meets the expectations of most owners for day-to-day use.
Coverage and Airflow
The manufacturer does not list a recommended room size or airflow rate for this filter. As a replacement part, its performance is tied to the capabilities of the purifier itself. Owners should refer to their original purifier’s specifications to determine suitable room coverage.
Controls and Smart Features
Because this is a passive filter, there are no controls or smart features. It simply fits into the purifier and works when the fan is running. Some compatible purifiers may have filter replacement indicators, but those depend on the purifier model, not the filter itself.
Maintenance and Running Costs
Replacement filters are a recurring expense for any air purifier owner. The LemonQueen MK04 Filter is sold as a two-pack, which helps reduce the per-unit cost compared to buying singles. The manufacturer does not specify a recommended replacement interval; a common guideline for similar pleated + carbon filters is every three to six months, depending on usage and air quality. The filter is not washable and should be discarded when it becomes dirty.
LemonQueen does not include a warranty with this product. That is typical for consumable items like filters, but it means any issues with fit or performance are not covered. Checking compatibility beforehand is essential.
What Owners Say
User feedback for the LemonQueen MK04 Filter is overwhelmingly positive. The rating distribution shows that a large majority of buyers are very satisfied: five-star ratings make up the bulk, with very few lower scores. Ten percent of reviews are four-star, five percent three-star, and only a small fraction are two- or one-star.
Common praise includes easy installation, good fit in compatible purifiers, and noticeable improvement in air freshness right after replacement. Some negative comments, while rare, mention that the filter may not fit perfectly in certain third-party purifiers or that the carbon layer could be thicker. Overall, the high satisfaction suggests that the filter delivers on its basic promise for most users.

Who Should Buy It (and Who Should Skip It)
The LemonQueen MK04 Filter is ideal for owners of AROEVE MK04, AP04, MG04JH, or DH-JH04 purifiers who want a straightforward, affordable replacement. The two-pack means you will have a spare on hand, saving time and money. If you are comfortable with periodic filter changes and do not require advanced features like HEPA certification or detailed performance data, this is a solid pick.
On the other hand, if you need a filter with certified removal rates for specific pollutants (such as smoke or mold spores) or prefer a brand that offers a warranty, you may want to look at alternatives. The lack of published performance metrics could be a dealbreaker for buyers who rely on CADR or similar standards.
Final Verdict
The LemonQueen MK04 Filter is a well-reviewed, no-fuss replacement option for a set of popular AROEVE air purifiers. Its combination of a pleated filter and activated carbon addresses the basics: capturing dust and neutralizing odors. The two-pack format offers good value, and the high satisfaction rating indicates that most users find it effective.
While it lacks warranty coverage and detailed performance specifications, those are not uncommon for replacement filters in this price range. For everyday use in a standard home environment, this filter pack reliably does its job. If you own a compatible purifier and are looking for a cost-effective replacement, the LemonQueen MK04 Filter deserves a spot on your shortlist.
