Design and Build
The cobectalsupplier ZQA-2000B sports a compact, cylindrical shape that measures just under 9 inches tall and about 6.7 inches in diameter. Its black finish blends into most décor, and the unit weighs only 2 pounds, making it easy to move from room to room. The top-mounted control panel features simple buttons for power, fan speed (likely low, medium, high), sleep mode, and the diffuser function. The blue night light can be toggled on or off depending on preference.
Build quality appears adequate for the price point. Owners note that the unit feels sturdy and the cord length is generous. The air intake is located around the base, while the clean air exits from the top. The essential oil tray sits conveniently on the top grille, allowing you to add a few drops of oil for a gentle scent. Overall, the design prioritizes simplicity and portability over advanced aesthetics.
Performance and Features
Filtration System
The cobectalsupplier ZQA-2000B uses a 3-in-1 filter that combines a pre-filter, a HEPA-type filter, and an activated carbon layer. This combination is intended to capture dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke, and odors. While the manufacturer does not provide specific CADR ratings or HEPA certification, customer feedback indicates that the unit noticeably improves air quality in small rooms, especially for allergy and pet owners.
Coverage and Noise
The product is marketed for bedrooms and small offices. Based on owner comments, it performs well in spaces up to around 150 to 200 square feet, though exact coverage is not stated. Noise levels are a highlight: multiple reviews mention that the unit runs very quietly, particularly in sleep mode. Some users even use it as a white noise machine. The sleep mode likely reduces fan speed to near-silent operation while still circulating air.
Controls and Extra Features
Operation is straightforward. Users press buttons on the top panel to cycle through fan speeds, activate sleep mode, or turn on the blue night light. A dedicated diffuser tray allows you to add essential oils; the fan then blows the scent into the room. This dual-purpose design appeals to those who want both air cleaning and aromatherapy from a single device. No Wi-Fi or smart features are mentioned in the data.
Maintenance and Running Costs
The main maintenance task is replacing the 3-in-1 filter. The manual or indicator light will prompt a change when the filter is saturated. However, a notable downside reported by owners is difficulty sourcing replacement filters. As a newer model (first available October 2024), filter availability may improve over time, but currently some users struggle to find the exact filter. When you do find it, the cost is typically low given the unit’s price point (exact price not listed by the manufacturer). The essential oil tray requires only occasional cleaning.
Additionally, a few owners mention that the blue filter replacement indicator may continue flashing even after changing the filter. This appears to be a design or software bug. For many, it does not affect performance, but it can be annoying. Regularly checking the filter manually and cleaning the pre-filter (if accessible) can help extend filter life.
What Owners Say
Customer reviews for the cobectalsupplier ZQA-2000B are generally positive, with an average rating of 4.2 stars. The breakdown shows 66% five-star, 12% four-star, 10% three-star, 4% two-star, and 8% one-star ratings.
Positive feedback frequently highlights the quiet operation, especially in sleep mode, and the unit’s ability to freshen a small room. One five-star reviewer praises its efficiency for allergy and pet owners, noting that it runs quietly while still purifying effectively. Another appreciates the simple controls and essential oil diffuser, saying it helps keep the bedroom smelling fresher. Several users mention the compact size and portability as major pluses.
On the critical side, the most common complaint is the difficulty finding replacement filters. A three-star review states the filter is hard to source and that the blue indicator light keeps flashing even after replacement. Another buyer, who purchased for white noise and scent, said it works fine for that purpose but doubted its air cleaning ability compared to a more premium brand. Some users also reported the blue light being persistently on, which may disturb light sleepers if not turned off.

Who Should Buy It (and Who Should Skip It)
This air purifier is a great fit for anyone needing a compact solution for a small apartment or bedroom. If you prioritize quiet operation, value simple controls, and like the idea of combining air cleaning with a mild essential oil scent, the cobectalsupplier ZQA-2000B delivers at a low entry price. It is also suitable for allergy and pet owners on a budget who want to reduce airborne particles in a single room.
On the other hand, if you need HEPA certification, large room coverage, or smart features, look elsewhere. Those who dislike persistent indicator lights or want easy access to replacement filters may want to consider alternatives like the best air purifier and humidifier combos that offer more established filter supplies. This unit is not designed for whole-house purification or for users who require advanced air quality monitoring.
Final Verdict
The cobectalsupplier ZQA-2000B is a capable, no-frills air purifier for small spaces. Its quiet operation, compact size, and built-in essential oil diffuser make it a convenient choice for bedrooms or home offices. Owners generally report improved air freshness and appreciate the low noise level. For the price, it offers decent value as a secondary or starter purifier.
However, the lack of transparent specifications and the reported issues with filter availability and persistent indicator lights are significant drawbacks. If you can manage these inconveniences, the ZQA-2000B will serve well. Otherwise, investing a bit more in a comparable model with better support may be wise. In summary, it is a good pick for its niche, but not a universal recommendation.
